Hey this is Chuck,
In February 1970 I was born again.
I immediately felt called of God even though I didn't exactly know what that meant. I felt this calling to preach the gospel through my music; to lead lost souls to Christ and to learn my Bible as thoroughly as I could.
In 1980 I felt God leading me to to dig deeper into the area of worship, which led me to an active worship ministry which permeates my concerts even today. My wife Karen and I have always been about ministry first. No matter the size of the church- no matter how long the journey on the airplane- preaching the gospel and fulfilling the great commission always come first with both of us. I can't relate to the idea of "retiring." When one is called, you serve God till you die.
In 1980 we incorporated to form Chuck Girard ministries to be better stewards of God's resources.
Since 1980, we felt the Lord calling us to minister for offerings only. Since then we have not had a set fee. We are supported by the gifts of God's people, through offerings in the services or private donations. We are very grateful when God lays it on people's hearts to help support what God is called us to do. Thank you for praying us and supporting us in so many ways throughout the years
